This is our 39th Christmas together with each being special in it's own. I didn't get you a card, however, I've kept my thoughts in my mind to be able to express to you what I'm feeling. Though the material things that we have shared in the past have always been appreciated I've come to the realization that the most important gift I can ever give you is myself. I want to give you me in a fashion that whenever you close your eyes you will always have a smile on your face knowing that I have given you all the love one person can give another.
Each time I look at you, I still see that young beautiful girl that captured my heart from our very first glance. My mind has always formulated that special look that I was seeking, which caused me not to have many girlfriends nor stick around long enough to find out. You, were the complete package with your beautiful eyes, warm inviting smile and a body that I knew I couldn't keep my hands off of. 39 years have gone by and nothing has changed other than I love you more today in knowing that that first glance was God telling me that I need not look any further, I found it and I needed to know how to keep you.
At this stage in our lives I've realized I can't be what I once was, I come to realize my limitations, however love has no limitations nor boundaries. Telling you how beautiful you look, How much I love your greying hair and how much I like touching and feeling you up against me.
My Christmas gift to you is that I will continue to give you me in all the spontaneous, silliness and most importantly the most loving way that I know how.
