37 years

The years have come and gone to the tune of 37 years. Thinking that we have been together for more than half of our lives is amazing and heartfelt. 37 years ago today I wished for a future that we have made, I thought of a life that was a dream and 37 years later the dream has been real.

37 years of loving you has made  me more of the person that I have always wanted to be and less of the person that use to be.

Though we both know that another 37 years are not in our future, the years that are we have left will  be our best yet!

What is a Birthday?

April 6, 2016 you are officially one year older, one year wiser, one year happier and one year more loved by me.

Your years on this earth have given  us that very special and very beautiful daughter that two parents couldn't be more proud of.

With each year, with each birthday life has a way of bringing forth the little things that bring so much joy, so much laughter and so much peace of mind. The idea that a simple hug from behind can symbolize a lifetime of love's nurturing. The knowledge that we two are the ones that are part of each other. We were meant to be and that with hand in hand we will take whatever our remaining years bring forth. We have each other!
